Tell us which days you're in Budapest, how many of you there are, and what you're curious about. We'll come back with a suggestion — including, when it's the honest answer, that none of our tours is the right fit.

Before you write
- Where do we meet?
- Your hotel lobby is easiest, and it costs nothing extra. If you'd rather meet somewhere central, pick a landmark and we'll be there. We don't have an office for you to come to.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Walking tours need 24 hours' notice, the food tour 48, and the day trips 72 because they need a car and a driver. In peak season and over the Christmas market weeks, earlier is safer.
- What languages do you guide in?
- English, Spanish and Hungarian.
- Can I change the date?
- Yes — free of charge if you tell us at least 24 hours in advance, subject to a guide being available on the new date.
- How quickly will you reply?
- Usually within a few hours, and almost always the same day. The one exception is while a tour is actually running — if we're out with a group, nobody is answering the phone, which is rather the point of a private guide. WhatsApp gets read first.
- What should I tell you in the first message?
- Which days you're in Budapest, how many of you there are, and roughly what you're curious about. That's enough for us to come back with something useful rather than a list of questions.
- Do you take groups larger than eight?
- Not on foot — eight is where a private tour stops feeling private. For car-based day trips the limit is six, which is the vehicle. If you're a larger party, ask: we can sometimes run two guides on the same day.
- Is the price per person?
- No. Every price on this site is for the whole group, so two people and six people pay the same.
